There are many areas of collaboration between Universities and industries as well as knowledge partners which are mutually beneficial owing to the two-way delivery/sharing of expertise and knowledge. The Centre for Industry and Knowledge partnerships is aimed at becoming a facilitator to generate skilled work force for industrial requirement, at various levels, by such a unique amalgamation for programmes which do not fall under any existing department of the University and for which an independent department is yet to be set up.
To become a facilitator to generate skilled workforce for industrial requirement, at various levels, by a unique amalgamation and collaboration between Universities and Industries as well as Knowledge partners which are mutually beneficial owing to the two-way delivery/sharing of expertise and knowledge.
To identify and initiate programs/courses with Industry and/or Knowledge Partners to train skilled and employable work force for industry at all levels.
To design, develop and conduct job oriented programs/courses aimed at creating employability for candidates through focused skill enhancement by collaboration between TLSU and Industry and/or Knowledge partners.
To take the expertise of the Industry/Knowledge partners to design/ improve/ redesign curriculum periodically in tune with the requirement of the industry.
To offer Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programmes which encompass pedagogies which blend the classroom study, online support and workplace experience for working professionals and/ or apprentices.
