ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN INSURANCE SALES (ADIS-WIL)

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES:

  • The objective of offering ADIS-WIL is aimed at training and up-skilling work force for industrial requirement in the insurance sector with special focus on selling insurance products to a wide variety of prospects of Insurance Sales, at various levels, at the work place with an Industry Partner to ensure candidates can be readily absorbed as Sales Executives in the insurance sector.
  • ADIS WIL focuses on a unique blend of theory and practical. Every semester will have an on-job-training component where candidates will gain skills that are essential for holistic development as an insurance sales professional.
  • This program has been designed to teach foundational concepts in insurance, accounting, costing, marketing and general management to provide a core understanding of business and marketing-related fields which are closely related to the insurance sector.
  • The program focuses on risk and insurance management, financial accounting basics, cost and management accounting, basics of life and general insurance, government regulations relevant to the insurance industry including the IRDA norms for life and general insurance.
  • This advanced diploma programme is designed to provide flexibility of study and modular curriculum, with Multiple Entry Multiple Exit (ME-ME) options.
  • The programme comprises of 4 Certificate courses. Successful completion of two certificates will lead to award of a Diploma. Successful completion of all 4 Certificates will lead to award of an Advanced Diploma.
